It reminds me of this time last year when I was messing with my mom and told her I was going to sell all her China when she died so I didn't have to handwash them every holiday. She got so mad at me that she started giving a piece of her China to Silas every time he comes to visit. She told him he was forbidden from ever getting rid of them, and he follows directions better than me. He's made three trips to Delaware, so he now has three wine glasses, which had been given to her by my paternal grandmother. There's a lot in all of that.
